Freedom

Freedom

Today is a good day! I feel great! Especially since I spent the weekend recovering from food poisoning, which anyone will tell you is not fun. Surprisingly, the older you get, it seems the more of a toll it takes on your body. Last time I had this was from a Tuna sandwich at a Subway in South Carolina. We were on the road traveling back from Christmas vacation spent with family in Florida. We were both pescatarian then. Finding good food on the road is hard, being a vegetarian (with occasional fish in your diet) is even harder. We both were sick over New Years eve that year.

So while I laid in bed and slept all day Saturday, my wife, luckily was able to meet with the person who commissioned a painting from me. Even luckier was that the painting was all packaged up and ready to go by Friday eve. Originally I was going to wire it for hanging on Saturday morning, but since the varnish had completely dried and cured, I attached the hanging hardware on Friday. Then packaged it up in glassine with all its documents so Freedom was ready to go to its new home!

Wishing you a healthy, creative, and loving week ahead!

Why oh why do some blogs accept the “like” button and others don’t, including yours! Really enjoy your work, Deb, and sympathise with the food poisoning. I got a bug two years ago which resulted in me being bed-ridden and needing to stay very close to the loo. It finally died down but I still get flare-ups, so I hope you stay completed recovered!

I’m not “Anonymous”, I’m Mo! Screw WordPress and all the silly stuff it’s doing lately!

Hi Mo, I “think” it has something to do with a self hosted blog, versus wordpress.com. Using the jetpack plugin that allows it to be read by wordpress reader, that may be the problem… Wish I knew, because I have the exact same problem and its frustrating.
