Out Of The Storm
This is a 2 panel work, otherwise known as a diptych. Each panel measures 24″ x 12″ or 24 X 24″ (61 x 61cm) joined. They are painted on primed, stretched canvas that is mounted over 3/4″ stretcher bars and stapled on the back.
Out of the Storm is painted using primary colors of blue, red and yellow. There is some texture and marking throughout the piece. This work was painted using palette knives and scrapers, plus a texture tool. The sides are painted white with a brush and that is the only time I used a paint brush on this piece. The colors were used straight out of the tube, very vibrant high chroma. Both paintings have a gloss varnish finish to protect them from UV rays and dust.
Sides painted white.

Signed on the Front left (vertically) and on verso.
…WRITE ME for a personalized shipping quote if you would like this taken off the stretcher bars and shipped in a tube. The cost to ship will be much less that way, particularly if being shipped globally. I will have the canvases marked 1 and 2 (reading left to right) so the correct orientation will be easy for your framer to set up, or just show them the provenance record.
