How I painted a large abstract painting on canvas. This one measures 57" x 57" or 145 × 145 cm., the actual size of the canvas is 63" x 63" or 160 × 160 cm. There will be plenty of room to mount this on stretcher bars, and I've finished it all the way to the ends of the canvas, so the painting will continue onto the sides. As always, there are many layers, it's a constant dance of adding and subtracting to get to the final outcome. It's a process. The idea for this one is that we are all different, and none of us fit neatly into a circle or a box. We are each unique and perfect just the way we are. We compliment each other with our differences. It's time we celebrate each other and raise humanities vibration. This one is titled XOXO and will be on my website and Saatchiart.
