- Yin Yang Symbol - Taijitu Painting This was painted with the feeling that these days, especially, we all could use more balance in our lives. This symbol reminds me of that. The yin yang symbol is from traditional Taoism originally, but it has become known as the symbol that means balance. There is light in the dark and dark in the light. The universe is made up of all of these contrasts. Examples include: night (Yin) and day (Yang), female (Yin) and male (Yang). The yin-yang is the idea that opposites are needed in order for harmony to exist. They are opposites, but they are both equal and needed. Finding Balance is a mixed media oil and acrylic painting on stretched canvas. The painting continues onto the sides, so it can be hung without a frame. Sun and Moon – Custom Large Painting
- Sun and Moon Custom Large Painting Large 36" x 36" Balancing Sun and Moon with hidden keys. A local business owner had seen a print of Balancing Sun and Moon and wanted an original painting of it in a larger size. The new one also has some added some hidden keys in the painting, as her counseling practice is themed around "keys". Who knew there were so many fascinating types of keys??!!! She has a fabulously comfortable office space here in Sonoma County, CA., and I’m enjoying working with her on her other custom painting of Stella. Inspired by sun – moon- alternate nostril breathing from Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
