Jane Goodall is an inspirational figure that I have wanted to paint for a while now. As a primatolgist she was one of the first scientists to name her subjects instead of assigning numbers to them as was previously the norm. And to think this all started with a gift from her dad, a stuffed animal chimp she named Jubilee! I wanted lots of color for her as she is a multifaceted individual, a force and certainly a trailblazer for women! Love this chimpanzee!!
Painted in acrylic on 48″ x 36″ x 1.5 stretched canvas. Signed front and back and comes with signed certificate of authenticity.
