    • When painting this I'm particularly inspired by the symbolism in ancient mythologies, from the Japanese Enso, to the Ouroboros of Greek, Aztec and Egyptian Mythologies. I've been fascinated by the symbolism of circles for a while. Look around, you'll see them everywhere. Your morning cup of java or tea, your bowl of breakfast, the steering wheel, the wheels of a bus, the lights in a traffic light - and we haven't even gotten to work yet! Because of this, I was inspired to paint Miss Tina and listened to her music non-stop, including the Album titled CHILDREN BEYOND (mantras), which I had no idea about until it popped up on my Spotify list! I loved working on her, as I fondly remembered her concert in Tampa, Florida back in 1993 during her "What's Love" Tour. Good Times! Perhaps this painting helps you remember some good times too?!
